The Printers

I am so lucky that Vince can fix computers and printers. I have struggled the entire time he was gone with printer issues. He left three printers set up and it didn’t take long before not a single one was working.

After spending the day with the movers and at the storage units, last night Vince said “I have the energy to do one more thing . . change the water filter on the fridge or fix a printer?” I said “Oh, please fix a printer!” I’m happy to use Pattern Keeper for the charts but I love printing the “legend” page and keeping that handy for reference as to chich colors to use where.

It took him less than 5 minutes to get one of the HP printers working. I said “How did you do that?” His answer “I can’t tell you or you might night keep me around!” I’d think by now he’s figured out I’ll never let him out of my sight again! 🙂

Seriously, I am so happy to have a printer.

Today we have NOTHING we have to do. Tuesday he drove here. Wednesday he spent the day with the movers. I took care of switching over my Medicare supplements, canceling the homeowner’s insurance in Texas, switching the car insurance to MO and canceling the electricity for the Texas house. The new people had already put it in their name. We had notified our REP that they could cancel us when the new people signed up but they had to have our new address because we have a refund from the power we produced last month that they owe us for.

Today Vince will change the water filter, change the a/c filter and fill the water softener with salt. That’s it . . I hope to get some stitching done . . I’m betting Vince watches some TV. It will be good to have nothing demanding our attention today.
