Yesterday just as I was posting about our plans for Addie to dye eggs, my friend, Donna, sent me a link to how to dye eggs in the Instant Pot. We used that method yesterday and oh, my . . perfect and almost no mess at all! It’s all done inside a jar (four pint jars) in the Instant Pot. The instructions said to dye three eggs per jar but we only used two per jar. When it’s done, dump the dye water, wash the jar and that’s it!
The dark purple one . . I forgot to take it out of the water and we were fixing to oil the eggs to make them shine and I said . . wait, we’re missing an egg.
Today we’ll dye a few eggs with the kit I have here. Looks like lots of egg salad sandwiches on the menu for this week. 🙂
