Last night I finished the words on Always Thankful.
I took out the maple leaves (or whatever they were). In the next few days, I’ll come up with a plan for filling in the spaces and get this finished. I think I’m going to love it. I do have some ideas but I need to chart them, stitch them, finish the “x”s in the border, decide on a frame and this will be done.

It’s so pretty and your fabric choice is just perfect. I can’t wait to see your finish
Julie says
Just a thought, in a smaller font and a light color, the names of those you are thankful for.

I think it looks really nice just as it is. Because you used a fabric with some color variation maybe it doesn’t need much extra fill. That might hide the pretty fabric. Just my opinion.

Yes, there is always something to be thankful for! You will find the perfect way to finish this piece and it will be special and lovely. Tonight, several times, I have given thanks ‘for the years that were’. Memories of a retreat trip are part of my “thankfuls”!

That’s so sweet. The retreat memories are special to me too. I’m so glad you have good memories. I don’t always take the time to be thankful for the memories I’m making and we never know when those will be all we have left.
