Chad bought dry ice to get our seafood back from Louisiana. He unloaded part of the contents of the cooler into my freezer and there was a little piece of dry ice so he brought it in and put it in a cup of water for Addie to show me. Chad said “She loves this so act like you’ve never seen it before!” OK . . that was very interesting, Addie! 🙂
I was telling Chad and Nicole that Vince and I are going to go to Louisiana after he gets here and gets rested. Addie said “Can I go with y’all?” I looked at Chad and Nicole and they said “Fine” so I guess we’ll be waiting til school is out before we go. I asked Vince if it was ok with him and he said “sure”.
Addie and my uncle are so close. Nicole said Addie hardly went anywhere with them . . she stayed home with my uncle. Nicole said when she and Chad got back to the house after going somewhere Saturday, there were Kleenex all over the floor. My uncle yesterday and he told me that he and Addie had so much fun. They sat across from each other, rolled Kleenex into balls and tried to toss them into each other’s mouth. Really? He’s almost 89 years old and was giggling like a kid playing with Addie. That’s good for him . . he needs that.
I talked to him last night and told him we’d probably come in May and Addie wants to come back with us and he was so excited. He said “I love that girl so much!”
