It doesn’t seem to matter if Chad, Nicole and Addie are here for an hour, a day or a week, but when they walk out the door, this house seems so terribly empty and lonely. It would be real easy for me to sit and cry for an hour or a day! I had not gotten enough sleep on Friday night because of the thunder and Rita, then was busy all day Saturday with Addie here, then we all stayed up too late last night and got up too early this morning. After they drove off this morning, it was that empty, “make yourself breathe” moment when I walked back into the house. I had the entire day ahead of me so I decided to get back to Pet All The Dogs.
I stitched on it for maybe an hour and couldn’t keep my eyes open so I went to bed, slept almost three hours, woke up feeling refreshed and not so sad about missing them.
Looks like we may have thunder til late tonight . . should stop before midnight, so after that nap, I should be able to sit and stitch til the weather that causes Rita to bark is past.
I’m going to stitch back to the left and finish that brown row, then start on a different color. Between the time change, Chad, Nicole & Addie leaving, missing Vince and the weather, I need to work with a happier color than brown.

before you go too far, it looks like the second angled line up from the bottom is not correct. it looks like there are spaces between the sets of cross stitches on that line but not the others. Hoping you don’t kick me out for bringing bad news again.

After reading your comment, I went to the cross stitch piece and checked and re-checked with the pattern and couldn’t figure out what you were talking about so I went back to the picture on the blog and I see how it looks there but that’s weird because it’s not like that. It’s actually correct. I took another picture and can’t attach it here so I’ll email it to you. If you still see something wrong, please let me know. Thanks!
