Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone’s problems were as small as mine are today?
I have one pair of pajamas that are so so comfy and I love them. I always save them to wear when I can have a pajama day. Since I went to the doctor yesterday and got my fish sandwich from Wendy’s . . not Popeye’s . . I had nowhere I needed to go today so last night I took my shower and was almost giddy putting on those favorite pj’s knowing I could stay in them all day.
About 10 a.m. my doorbell rang. Good grief . . I had on my pajamas at 10 a.m. How embarrassing! It was Fed Ex dropping off an overnight delivery. Papers I had to sign and send back to Texas. I called Vince to tell him I had received them, was going to run down to the bank to get them notarized and explained that this was ruining my pajama day. He said “You don’t have to do it today! If you do it any time next week, that will be fine!” No. I cannot do that. I’d fret about it all weekend. It’s better or me to get dressed, go to town and do it. So my pajama day was ruined.
I’ve already washed them and I’m going to wear them again tonight and tomorrow I’ll try again for pajama day. It’s going to be a rainy, stormy weekend and great days to stay home but, for me, every day is a great day to stay home.
Chad, Nicole and Addie are going to Louisiana for Spring Break and they may be driving through some bad weather so if you’re the praying kind, I’d appreciate prayers for them for safe travels. They’ll be headed down through Arkansas and will spend a couple of days in north Louisiana, then head down to Lake Charles and eventually take Addie down to the Gulf so she can play on the beach and Chad can buy shrimp and crabs.

Prayers for them as they travel – lots of weather this weekend.

Hope you get your PJ day tomorrow! I will be including Chad, Nicole and Addie as they have their spring break road trip.

Thank you. This mom is always nervous when they travel in bad weather.

Pajama day sounds fun! I’ll sometimes last until noon, but then I get to feeling kinda guilty and finally shower and get dressed. Prayers for Chad and family from here.

Me too. Every now and then I make it all day but I’d never do it when Vince is here. I think twice already since I’ve been in MO, Jeremy dropped by on PJ day so I’m sure he thinks that I never get dressed.

You can live vicariously through me, I had my first pj day today. I almost dressed to make supper for the family, but hubster asked me ‘why bother?’. I felt a bit guilty, he’s up early to get the kids up and off to school before he starts his day of working from home. Guess it was that kind of day! I’ll be back on my to do list tomorrow. Happy weekend everyone.

Almost every day I have no where to go, I wear my sweats and an old shirt, any old shirt. I don’t care who comes to the door. If you don’t want to see me in sweats, don’t ring my doorbell. LOL I hope you have a great stormy weather pj day!

I try really hard to get dressed when I get up but most days it does not happen. My gown does not touch me like clothes do. My poo mail lady has seen all of my gowns. She always tells me she is jealous and wished she could do her job in her jammies.
