Dermatology Report

This morning I had to go back to the dermatologist .. in the rain! I terribly dislike driving in Joplin and I know some of you are laughing because Joplin traffic is nothing compared to most cities but I think city drivers are rude, always in a rush and I just don’t like being in the rat race. Most everything I have to do can be done without going into Joplin . . except the dermatologist and Hobby Lobby. I doubt I’d ever drive to Sam’s Club because it’s clear on the other end of Joplin or, I could get on I-44 and get there but my days of getting on I-44 are over! Yes, I’m officially an old woman when the traffic in Joplin is too much for me.

But, I had to go to the dermatologist. I would guess that I’m about as healthy as anyone my age but I do have a problem with skin cancers. My dad’s family all has battled skin cancer. I was able to see the same dermatologist in Joplin that I saw when we lived here before so that made me happy. I’ve already had one spot removed and today was the last checkup so I don’t have to go back for a year, unless something else pops up that looks suspicious.
