It has been so windy here today! We’ve had gusts over 50 mph. There’s an 18 wheeler turned over on one of the highways. Some are saying wind but I don’t know if that’s it or not.
The poor flag is whipping and popping in the wind.
Tomorrow we’re supposed to have storms, then rain on Friday and Saturday and storms again on Sunday. I think I’m going to move my favorite pillow and comforter downstairs and sleep in the basement for a few nights. In that bedroom, I won’t hear thunder or sirens so if I don’t know what’s going on, I won’t be scared. I put clean flannel sheets on that bed at the beginning of winter and no one has slept on them so before it’s time to go back to cotton sheets, someone needs to sleep on the flannel sheets and since I’m the only one here . . I guess that will be my job! 🙂
It’s so cool and quiet in that bedroom. If I have my way, we’ll sleep down there in the summer.

Your plan sounds excellent to me! It’s been windy here, too, but not that bad.

Good idea!

We’ve been windy like that too. I’m actually looking forward to some rsimy days, we need it b

That sounds nice. Speaking of thunder, will you take Rita down there, too? I imagine you’d have to bring along her heating pad! 😀
Judy Laquidara says
I have a bed and heating pad downstairs but Rita doesn’t like being down there. I’ll probably leave her upstairs . . so far, she hasn’t reacted too badly to the thunder.
