When I do this, I’m desperate!
The blog has not been cooperative today. Everything was falling apart. You know about the comment moderation. This morning, it was hard to comment and some were getting “not safe” messages. Then I couldn’t load pictures. Then I couldn’t even make a post.
I’m so careful not to stick my nose into areas where I don’t know what I’m doing and I really had not done anything that should have caused issues so I contacted the host and I sent about three notes within 5 minutes . . comments have to be moderated, I can’t post pictures, I can’t make a blog post. It took them a while but they called me and, even though it was a very nice young man and I could understand him perfectly, we do not speak the same language when it comes to all this blog stuff. For me, the only word I know is “HELP!”. But, I believe what he said is that they were migrating some websites to a new server and for some reason, mine got partially moved and since the entire “framework” wasn’t there, it got set up as a temporary test site and WordPress was working partially off one site and partially off another and nothing was working correctly.
This is how nice the young man was who was working with me. When someone calls, Rita starts barking because she hears them, thinks someone is here and they aren’t petting her. I apologized to the guy for the dog barking, explained that she’s blind, she hears him, she thinks he’s here and he isn’t petting her. He said “Oh, I wish I had a treat to give her.” How nice was he?? I wanted to say “Give me your mama’s phone number. She needs to know how kind you are!” but, I didn’t.
Anyway, that part of the blog should all be fixed but the lady who does the blog makeovers is hopefully going to go in and clean everything up and get it all in like new condition so there still may be some instability so please bear with me. Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon.
And, further desperation . . I had a bowl of cereal about 6 a.m. and at 1:30, I was starving and didn’t want to walk away from the blog because the host company was writing back and forth and I was emailing with the blog lady so I said . . heck, I’ll order a pizza . . and it wasn’t bad except they were out of jalapeno peppers! 🙁

This is a convenience food I purchase when I have been to town shopping and run 100 errands. The four meat is $8.00 and I have to wait about 8 minutes for it to cook. And James loves pizza.

I hope it all gets worked out soon…bummer they didn’t have jalapeños because they are wonderful on pizza…
Judy Laquidara says
Yay! I didn’t have to approve this batch of comments. Life is good . . except for no jalapenos on my pizza.

Hoping the blog issues are soon a thing of the past….it is aggravating when things don’t work the way we want them to and can’t “fix” it, LOL……I feel for you.
I re-subscribed but didn’t get any blog posts so hopefully things will be back to normal soon. Happy Stitching!

Testing, testing…. I was one who wrote a comment only to be rejected for not being on a safe site.. here goes..
Liz says
Yea, it worked!!! Now, if only I can remember what post I commented on and what I said!
Sharon says
That might explain why I only get the email post you make at the end of the day. None of the ones throughout the day. I did sign up again also. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Judy Laquidara says
Have you ever gotten the email throughout the day? I was thinking they only sent it out once in the evening but I could be wrong. I hope everything is back to “normal” now. If not, please let me know.
Sharon says
I always got them throughout the day until the last few days. Maybe they are changing that. I have still been getting the one at night.

Have you tried Papa John’s papadillas? mmmmm… LOVE Little Cesar for when we have a group get together.
Judy Laquidara says
I have not tried those. Didn’t even know they exist but you can bet I’ll be trying them soon. Thanks!
