Not only have I been missing getting to see Chad, Nicole and Addie but I’ve been missing getting fresh eggs from them.
I’m looking forward to breakfast this morning. Fresh eggs from Addie’s chickens!
Yesterday Addie and I were outside and she was talking about how much she wants me to get chickens and I told her it wasn’t going to happen at this house. She wanted to know if we might move out in the country ever and I told her I doubted that would happen. I told her that when Vince gets here, he’s going to try to find a camp on the water somewhere and maybe it would be a place where she could fish or float or maybe we’d even have a pool. She said “I would rather he found a farm with plum trees!”
I think the main thing she will remember about our place in Texas was waking, going out in her nightshirt, climbing up on the ladder and eating plums right out of the tree. She did love those plums!

I understand that. One of my fondest memories of our house in Phx was going out in the spring and picking early peaches off the tree, then coming in and slicing them into my cereal. Sigh for the good times. =)

In all those trees, Vic bought, was there a plum tree in the bunch? Maybe Addie need to make a request to him.
Judy Laquidara says
No. It was bundles of 10 – 10 each elderberry, Chinese Chestnut, chinkapin and crab apple.
