Three times! That’s how many times I’ve put Elmer’s Gold Brick eggs in my cart and then taken them out. Heck, once I even placed an order at Amazon, then canceled it.
It’s a good thing I don’t like chocolate, right?
It seems the farther I get from Louisiana, the harder it is to find them. My aunt, who passed away three years ago, used to send them to me at Easter and it always makes me think of her more this time of year. No matter how hard it is to find them, I need at least two Gold Brick eggs per Easter season. I finally did end up ordering some but had to get a package of 24. Darn it! 🙂
Walgreen’s almost always has them but since I’m not wandering around in stores these days, especially for a chocolate egg I don’t need, I had no choice but to order them if I wanted them . . and I do want them!
I’ll give some away, put some in the freezer for those days when all I need is one bite of a Gold Brick egg, but at some point within a few days of their arrival, I’ll promise myself I’m never buying them again, but I know I’ll always buy them every year.

I have never had them and you make them sound divine! I will be sure to NOT buy these if I see them…I certainly don’t need any more temptation in my dietary cravings.

I remember when you sent me one. OMGoodness! I did not need to know I could order them from Amazon. Thanks. I think.

I love the Milky Way Easter eggs. They seem softer and creamier in these little egg shapes. So this is the time of year I get Milky Way and hide them from Them for me.

Oh my! I had never heard of these, so had to look them up. Did you know Amazon also has Elmer’s Gold Brick ice cream topping. My mouth is watering and I’ve never had that either!
