There wasn’t a lot of cross stitching time yesterday. I seem to waste so much time but I did have to go sign the lease for the rental units but the place is maybe three miles from home so really, I shouldn’t even mention that as an excuse. I visited with a neighbor for a while and did unload one tree! 🙂
Really, it was a lot of waiting to go do something. Vince had asked me to go about 9 so I got up, got dressed in “going out in public clothes”. Then he said the lady wasn’t going to be there til later so I started picking up and working in our closet. Then he said she wasn’t going to be back til about 1 p.m. Finally about 1:20 I got the go ahead to run down there and sign the lease so I did that, then ran by our bank and came back home.
I got a decent start on the outer border . . at least I turned a corner. I think I may not like corners. I struggle with diagonal stitches, even though they’re still stacked but just look diagonal, I never get them right the first time.
One more row of snow was made on the second block.
Today I’ll get back to Pet All The Dogs. I would like to think I’m going to cross stitch all day but I know that’s not going to happen. I’ll do what I can.

Fingers crossed that you’ll be able to do all you want to do today.

I need to print out the border for Farmhouse so I can start adding that too. Definitely don’t want to leave it all until the end to do.

The vine part is pretty easy but I kinda dread the “decoration” part. Looks like a lot of stops and starts but it seems much bigger than it really is so . . we can do this! It’s going to be funny if you and I both order the same frame.

I have days like that too, not enough time to do something constructive while waiting to do a “must do” thing. Having my stitching project set up lets me sneak in a few stitches here and there. My best times are the hour or two before I go to sleep, just me and the stitchery, listening to a good book.

I’m finding the same thing. I can plan to get up and stitch all day but there are too many other things that have to be done during the day so it’s often 6 p.m. before I get started stitching.
