Of course, I would never try to talk someone into buying anything but . . the 2021 Prairie Schooler Santas are in the shops. Just saying . . and, there could be one on the way to my house.
Today a couple of new XJuDesign linens arrived. I’d about go into debt to buy a truckload of the one on the right. The color is Aged Hazelnut. The color on the left is nice too. It’s Bird Cage. I went to XJuDesign’s Etsy page to see if there was any more Aged Hazelnut. I fully intended to buy it all but, there was none listed. There is Light Hazelnut and I have some of that ordered already but this Aged Hazelnut . . I love it!
It’s more gold than it looks in the first picture. This one still isn’t right but better. Oh, I do love this color!
The crazy thing is that when I find a linen, I order one piece to e sure I like it because photos online aren’t always exact, and by the time it gets here, the color is basically obsolete because you can’t find it anywhere. Stitchers are scarfing up linen as fast as they find it. I suppose there’s always the next new color and I might like it even more.

I saw some aged hazelnut on an Etsy site earlier today, I just went back to get the link for you, but it is gone now. I was thinking of using it for Heaven and Nature Sing, but remembered that I had a piece already bought called light hazel nut. It’s pretty too, buttery yellow though.

I think I have a piece of Light Hazelnut coming but that Aged Hazelnut is gorgeous. Really a nice gold. If I had known how pretty it was, I would have bought more if there had been more. I don’t even remember. I did write the XJu lady and asked for a whole yard if she dyes it again.

I love to dye fabric, but haven’t for awhile. Looks like I should get back into it and open an Etsy store!

Yes! Hand dyed linens seem to be in short supply these days.
