Last night I was talking to a friend on the phone and I mentioned how much some people get done and how little I seem to get done. I started working on “A House Is . . ” probably Monday and my plan was to get one side of the border done each day so today I’d be finished with the border. Know how much I’ve done?
Not even half of what I wanted to get done by now.
This morning I got up and told myself I’m spending the day working on this one but yet it’s after 10 a.m. and I haven’t started stitching yet. I have done other things but I’m sure those super productive stitchers have other things they have to do too.
It’s easy for me to blame Vince for my lack of productivity because he’s always wanting to go somewhere or I can pin him down to do things I need his help with but obviously, I don’t need him to help me waste time.
I know it isn’t a race but there’s so much I want to do and I don’t want to have 50 projects started so things have to be finished and in order to finish, I have to . . get off the computer and stitch! 🙂

Ice again here in NC.. we have linemen here from as far away as Canada and the Midwest. Wondering if Chad is here. So far not as bad as they expected, but not out of the woods yet. Praying for safety for all.
Judy Laquidara says
Chad’s actually home. Not sure what will happen next week. Today is the first day they’ve been able to work all week here because of the ice and snow.
Judy Laquidara says
Hope you get it all restored soon.

The computer is a big time-waster for me. I like to do jigsaw puzzles, so I do a couple of them on my Ipad every day. Then that leads to checking email, and looking at Facebook, and, and, and. The next thing I know the evening is gone, and I haven’t done anything but spend time on the computer…
Twyla says
Me too. I blame Judy.
Judy Laquidara says
What? Y’all are lucky my feelings aren’t easily hurt!

The computer is a time suck. I’ll sit down to check email or maybe quickly scroll through my FB feed. Something will catch my eye and down the rabbit hole I go! Next thing I know it’s been a couple hours.
