That’s actually the name of the chart. Here’s the photo I shared day before yesterday.
I had a couple of options for linen and chose this one:
It’s 36 count Tycho Edinburgh linen. I had some of the called for floss and some that were close enough.
I think except for the Ginger Snap, I’m using all DMC. Once I get started, I may end up using overdyes for the roof and the grass. I may have them and if not, I have others that will work. I’ve mentioned before but I’m just not going to spend $2.50 for half the amount of floss I get on a skein of DMC for 60 cents except when it’s for a big piece (house, roof, grass, dress) where the shading will make a difference. Small flowers, vines, tiny birds . . DMC is just fine.
See that pinkish/coral floss that’s on the bobbin in the middle? See the flowers in the border that are off white (Ginger Snap)? I’m thinking of switching those to the pinkish/coral. The Ginger Snap will show up in the house because there’s a lot of it but individual flowers, maybe not. I’ll see what I think once I start stitching.
I’m going to start this today – it’s my Valentine’s Day start. I don’t think it will take long to make but I always think that.

That will be gorgeous! I did order that chart when you posted it, just love it. We are at 7 degrees and tons of snow so my goal is to stitch and stay warm. Have a great day v

Don’t forget to add this project to your list at the top of the blog.
I pulled a needlepoint project out of a basket and started sorting out pearl cotton. The canvas is painted but the thread had not been purchased. I opted for cotton over wool. And, I can’t remember what colors I had planned to use, so I’ll make the decision when I get to the point in the canvas. Should be fun to get going again.
BTW – the Turner Turnpike (I44) by OKC is shut down with a multi semi pileup with fire. The accident was on westbound, but they shut down both lanes and are diverting traffic.
It’s time to start the lamb stew and soda bread for dinner!

I really like this and I think it will be gorgeous! You have enough to do if you get snowed in for 2 months, Heaven forbid!
