Looking back on how I’ve spent this day, I have to laugh.
I took out a chicken to defrost because I wanted to make chicken pot pie. Then I decided that was too much work for just me so I put it back. Then I thought chili sounded good so I took out two pounds of ground beef, then decided that was too much work so I put that up. I think I wasn’t really hungry but I know you don’t wait til you are hungry to start either of those dishes. I have some canned chili but who knows if I can even find it.
I went to the mail box . . THREE times! I was out with Rita so I got the mail. Got inside and realized ALL of it was for someone else. I was supposed to get a package today so I check o it. Yes, “delivered”. No, not delivered. Called the post office, they said “Oh, she must have put your mail in someone else’s box and theirs in yours!” If this happened every now and then, it wouldn’t be a big deal but it happens at least once a week.
I went back out and put all of someone else’s mail in the box, put the flag up so I could see when they had passed by again. Later I went out and got my package.
I brought a couple of boxes upstairs to unpack and decided that wasn’t what I wanted to do either.
I haven’t touched my stitching but I did do a few constructive things. I got all the linen entered on the fabric inventory sheets. I found the fabric and floss I want to use for the house project I’ll start tomorrow. That may be all I’ve accomplished today. Some days are just like that.

So, what did you finally decide to eat?
Judy Laquidara says
I heated up leftover lentil soup for lunch and made mini hamburgers for dinner.

Don’t you just love it when you can’t make up your mind? If it was just me, it would probably end up being a slice of toast with chunky peanut butter and I’d be good!! Since there’s hubby and 5-year old grandson I didn’t get out of it very easily. ?

I would do that too if it was just a few days but this has been going on for two months and I feel like I need decent meals – especially something hot on these frigid days.

I think we could be good friends, with a day like that…xo Ha!
