I wrote that last post and totally forgot that I had spent several hours organizing floss and charts.
There are apps called XStitch and XStitch Plus. I knew about them and had the XStitch but it’s very basic and free. XStitch Plus is $9.99 per year and I don’t think that’s U. S. dollars but I don’t even know what it is. I had already entered some of my floss in XStitch but decided to go ahead and purchase XStitch Plus because pretty much no matter where I am, I will have my phone with me.
I put all my DMC floss in there. I don’t have a lot of DMC floss but I am ordering it when needed and would like to keep track of what I have.
I didn’t put all the charts in there but it’s the Kogut, Blackbird, Plum Street Sampler patterns that I seem to think about, don’t buy, go back and buy and then can’t remember if I bought them so I put all those in. I’ll eventually get everything added.
It was worth the time spent and the money for the app.
Another thing I did that was a total waste of time .. for some reason I was thinking that DMC 3032 was a very dark brown and that is what I had started using for the border on Pet All The Dogs and I couldn’t find it to put with the other floss. I honestly spent over an hour searching for that thread . . looking everywhere, including about a dozen kits I had put together this morning. I went to order another one and realized it’s a very light grayish brown so I went right to it after I knew what I was looking for. Now that was a total waste of time.
This has nothing to do with anything in this post but I want Mexican food from the Mexican restaurant really bad. I just need to stop thinking about it. I am not going anywhere and I’m sure not eating in a restaurant nor do I want food prepared by someone I don’t know. Can’t have it both ways so I’ll just do without and keep wishing for Mexican food.
I do have taco shells, seasoning, cheese . . frozen meat . . I could make my own tacos and refried beans. I think I will!

HA!!! I ended up ordering Mexican on Saturday night and then Sunday night, I pulled out all of my cross stitch supplies and organized everything and put all of the pdf patterns into EZ PDF Reader on my Kindle. Great minds think alike!
