There’s more work than it looks like that got done yesterday. On that grass/shrub area, there are 8 rows of about 60 stitches on each row.
Now, both sides of the grass/shrubs has been stitched, with the steps in the middle.
You probably can’t see it but since I have a hard time counting completed “x”s, on the top row, I make half stitches, except every 10th stitch, I make a full “x”, then it’s easy to go back and make a grid above that. I line my grid lines up with the pattern grid lines, which means on the far right, my first grid line is above the 9th stitch, then the rest of them will be every 10th stitch. Once I get all the grid lines in that I need, I go back and finish making full “x” stitches.
I’ve been spending two hours every morning working on organizing. I asked Addie (just to be nice) if she cared if I stored some things in her closet and in her bathroom cabinets and closet and she didn’t care so this morning I moved some of the overflow from our closet into her closet, pulled out some more clothes to donate. There are a lot of gallon jugs of water in her bathroom closet now so I’ll leave those there til winter is over or, as I go downstairs, I’ll take a couple with me and put in the downstairs garage. It’s heated and things won’t freeze in there.
So . . the rest of this day, besides cooking lunch for myself, I shall be cross stitching . . I hope.
