I added a “Menu Plan” option to the menu bar above so it will make it easy to find.
Yesterday my plan was to make the Honey Sesame Chicken so I could post about it before anyone else makes it. I was busy and had a million things to do, including take a quick nap, and almost didn’t make it but I’m so glad I did.
Obviously I didn’t steam the broccoli. I had green beans left over from a couple of nights’ meals so I heated them up one last time.
I also put cashews on top of the chicken dish. Yummy! One thing I changed – I probably used maybe 1/3 cup of honey. Add a little, then taste it. You can always add more.
Also, I made rice Sunday night for a couple of meals this week. I don’t mind reheating rice. Having the rice already cooked makes it really easy for a quick dish like the Honey Sesame Chicken.

That looks good. We had chicken in cranberry sauce for dinner in the instant pot. It was so good. It is from the Rootitoot instant pot cook book volume one. I used boneless thighs instead of bone in because that was what I had. If you get the chance to look at that book I highly recommend it. Good wholesome meals just like my mother made but all for the instant pot. I hope your family are all feeling well after their illnesses and Vince comes home soon.
Kind regards
Kellie

I have both volumes of the Rootitoot cookbooks. Love them!! I’ve even purchased several sets as gifts. I highly recommend them.

This is still on my wish to make list for my IP. Still learning how to use it properly for different things.
