I’ve been working on my list of 2021 knitting plans. It’s in the sidebar. I’ve listed 12 WIPs to finish and 12 new projects. You know they aren’t all going to get done but I tried to choose projects I really want to make and I’ll carry them over to 2022. Goodness . . that seems like a long time from now.
One thing about the WIPs – there are several that are not the kinds of projects I can sit down and knit . . start to finish. Leftovers Cowl is one and Stained Glass Cowl is another. As soon as I find those, I will get them out and try to work on them a bit each week but they will not likely be my main WIP project for any month.
And, because I’m feeling optimistic, should I finish all 12 WIPs, there are plenty more where those came from!
January Knitting:
WIP:
- Ravencliff – This is a test knit and my goal is to finish this by Monday.
- Arkansas River Pullover – This is a sweater I started for Vince.
New Project:
Metropolis, which is free on Ravelry. You can see a marled version without the turtleneck here.
Remember when I did the blog post with several purple yarns I wanted to use in the first quarter of this year? I’ll be using one of those . . Madelinetosh Chunky in Curiosity.
I have the yarn wound and the pattern set up in Knit Companion but will not start it til I’ve finished Ravencliff.

I really like the pattern. Thanks for sharing it.
