Since I’ve finally gotten out all blocking supplies, I soaked and blocked Quicksilver this week.
It was a super quick knit while the rows were short but once they got longer and longer and longer, I thought I’d never finish this rascal.
You can get a better idea of how long it really is when you see it on the blocking mats. You can also see that it’s on Addie’s bed and she wants the wrong side of all her quilts to be facing out so that’s the back side of a very pretty pieced quilt.
This is a big shawl with lots of ways to wear it but it isn’t heavy. With the lacy open areas, it kind allows for “breathing”.
I had wanted to make this pattern for a long while and am glad to have it done!

Really lovely! I’m not a fan of stripes usually, but this one is beautiful draped.

I really love this one. I like shawls to wear out here in the desert because it doesn’t really get cold except for a couple of months.

This is very pretty. I love the black and pink together!

Another pretty one. And we can see the pink this time!

Oh, I had forgotten about that! Yes, pink! Obviously, I took those photos outside.

Gorgeous – rather unique! Love the stripes design especially how it drapes & the pink & black colors!
