The Girl is Here!

This afternoon I drove to Nevada, met Addie’s other grandma at a coffee shop. Since I don’t drink coffee, I had a Pear/Peach smoothie that was delicious! The two grandmas planned our Thanksgiving meal and what she will bring and what I will make. Then I picked Addie up, took her by her house to get all her stuff. She keeps the basics here but she needed a few dolls, doll clothes, hair spray (of all things!). I’m not sure what all she brought but then we went by her mom’s office so Addie could tell her goodbye for a few days.

Hurried home, fixed dinner and threw the sheets in the dryer. Addie wants to sleep on the blowup bed in the sewing room with Boots. Somehow, I’m thinking that may not last all night. It will be interesting to see where she wants to sleep tomorrow night.

I have a bigger mess in the sewing room tonight than I had yesterday. Vince had a box that said “Judy’s computer” but when he opened it, it was just cables and cords and the Dymo printer – not really the CPU so today I was opening boxes, dumping fabric, moving the jars . . trying to find my computer so he can get it set up before he leaves. Didn’t find it. Now . . he isn’t sure he sent it on the first load. Oh well . . if not, it will be on the next load. There’s NOTHING on it that I have to have but it would have been nice to have it set up down there. I find it so much easier doing the spreadsheets on a desktop than on a Chromebook.

I have plenty to keep me busy without re-doing the yarn spreadsheet!
