Vince and I went to the Farmers’ Market during a brief period without rain. It’s in an open air type pavilion so it is covered but if the rain is blowing, we’d be getting wet. It wasn’t raining while we were there so that was good.
Two packages of mushrooms, two different types of cheese, brussels sprouts, ginger, broccoli, radishes, kohlrabi and napa cabbage for the second batch of kimchi.
We got breakfast to go – biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs with peppers, onions and cheese and orange juice and sat in the car and ate it.
There was a lady there selling her doll clothes for an 18″ doll. I came home and hid those before getting a picture. Addie may be staying with me today. If she doesn’t, I’ll take a picture of them later. I got a wedding dress, complete with a veil; a teal (her favorite color) dress and a red, beaded dress for the doll’s Christmas outfit. It all came to $52 which wasn’t bad. One of the dresses even had a matching necklace. I told the lady “My husband just went to take stuff to the car so whisper the price!” He walked up behind me just as she said “That will be $52.” He said “52 DOLLARS?” Didn’t pull that one off quite like I had hoped!

Quick – tell us where you hid the doll dresses. Then we’ll be able to remind you when you forget. 🙂

You and I have both made doll clothes. They’re fiddly to do, and that was a great price! What fun that Addie likes doll clothes. My granddaughters were into other things at that age. (I agree with Helene – at least write down where you hid them.)

I will gladly pay to get cute doll clothes made by someone else. I don’t mind the real basic stuff but sequins and beads . . way too fiddly for me.
