Saturday

This has been the busiest Saturday, though I did manage to take a nap. A storm woke me up about 3:30 a.m. Rita woke up, grumbled a bit but went back to sleep. My first thought was . . oh, no . . I’m not going to be able to go to the farmers’ market but by 8, it was no longer raining so we went. I’ll do a post in the morning with what I bought.

We left there and Vince wanted to run by Best Buy and a flea market. Then it was my turn to grumble. We went but neither were even open yet so he brought me home and went back. Oh, how nice to live not so far from town!

I started another batch of kimchi before my nap and finished it just now.

I made a pear pie.

I made a double recipe of pasta. I used half of the pasta to make about 25 chicken/spinach ravioli (except I didn’t have spinach and used the greens from radishes instead). From the other half, I made regular noodles. Chad, Nicole and Addie are coming over tomorrow for lunch.

Other than heating up roast, making Pioneer Woman’s Crash Hot Potatoes, and steaming broccoli for lunch, I guess that’s all I did though I thought I did something else in the kitchen.

I did – I cut my finger! Just a little cut but I’m a wimp and there was blood.

It’s 8:30 now . . storming again. I should go take a shower and be ready for bed if the electricity goes off. I think I’ll do that then come knit for a while.
