It’s amazing when you move into a house, even though everything is fine by someone else’s standards, there’s always so much to be done. I’m not complaining about the house . . I know that when our house in Texas sells, there will be all kinds of things the new owners will want to do. I had wanted to do some things, and some of them we planned to do, some of them Vince said NO . . but I guess that’s all part of making it your own.
This house had gutters full of leaves so today we have a guy here cleaning them out and putting gutter guards on.
I’m not sure he’s going to get this job finished today. Maybe he isn’t planning on finishing it today . . that’s all between him and Vince. He’s so neat though. He has big leaf bags and he’s putting all the debris in the bags and will haul it off with him.
He’s also going to reseal the deck once we have a few dry days.
Vince has gone to town. Any excuse will do for him but today he wanted to get stain to touch up some things that got scratched during the move and where he moved hinges on the entertainment center. I needed a couple of things from the grocery store — really — just milk and eggs. I’m betting he comes in with bags and bags of stuff. He told me he wanted to stop by Dollar Tree. Having so many shopping places nearby may be trouble! 🙂
