Today is October 31. You know what that means! Halloween. I will not have my outside lights on. I will not open the door for anyone. I will have a heart attack if anyone rings my doorbell!
My current project is Quicksilver, which is for the 4th Quarter Knit Along at Eat, Sleep, Knit.
Of course, it isn’t blocked and it will look tremendously better after blocking but first . . I have to finish it.
Every day I say “I think I’ll finish this today.” Obviously, I have yet to finish it. When I first started this project, I thought it was going to take maybe a week to finish. I didn’t really get going til 10/10 or thereabouts because I had the black, I had the gray, but I couldn’t come up with a third color that popped. I was in MO and had very little yarn with me. I think I tried a gold, a green, a pink . . none of which worked so I had to order the bright pink and wait or it to arrive. I won’t finish it tonight. I may not finish it tomorrow but surely I’ll finish it by Monday.
To finish, I have to make one more pink section, one more black/gray section and one more pink section, bind off and this one will be done. It could happen tomorrow but doubtful.

Gosh! that is amazing! I can easily see why you would want to make that shawl.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product. Thanks for sharing.

Not until i read the story did i know that was pink! Maybe it was the halloween reference that threw me, but it looks orange on my screen. I think if it WAS orange it would be great! maybe time to start another?

This is very pretty. I know you are going to love it. In my picture here it looks orangish!
