Last night I went down and upacked a few boxes. Knowing that’s what caused my back/side pain, I was very careful and a couple of times I did feel what was causing the problem. It’s when I have to reach way back under the shelves to slide cases of jars. I’m bending over with that heavy box. I started putting the empty box where it goes, then putting a few jars in at a time. It takes way longer but I ended up with no pain last night or this morning.
It’s going to take longer to unpack like that but . . slow and steady wins the race, right?
Today I’m going to concentrate on the master bedroom. There are only two boxes to be unpacked but there are a lot of piles. I need to decide where everything goes and get it put up, vacuum that room, wash the sheets and I’ll feel like I’ve accomplished a lot if I get that done.
I don’t have to leave the house today. In fact, I don’t think I have to leave this week. I may go out and get the oil changed if Vince tells me where he wants me to take it. Otherwise, it’s unpacking, organizing and knitting for me.

I need about half of your get-up-and-go! Then I might actually accomplish something! 🙂

I LOVE getting to stay home. (although this weekend staying home meant helping with homework and no sewing. still, I’ll take it!)

Great progress! Is Vince bringing you a mini load for Thanksgiving?

I don’t know what he’s doing. About the only “thing” I’ve requested is Boots (the kitty) and my Kitchen Aid mixer. He’ll be coming in his car so I doubt he brings much but I’ll be happy with whatever he brings.

I lived in one house for 10 years and now the next one 40 years except I moved next door into my Mom’s house because she needs supervision. So for a year I have had half a closet and one 4 drawer dresser. I pitched a fit and my daughter has helped and we stashed Mother’s stuff else where and trashed a bit. My daughter is making me go through stuff and throw away or donate stuff now. I have an entire closet now. I did actually throw away worn out summer clothing instead of storing it
