Tomorrow Rita will have a rough day. Poor girl does not like the cold and has experienced more rain in MO in two weeks than she did in Texas in 5 or 6 years. She’s just not used to the rain or the cold. The minute I put her down, always on a leash, she takes off. She has no idea which direction she’s going but I guess she’s hoping she’s headed toward the house.
Tomorrow’s forecast – rain as far as the eye can see! 🙂
Cold rain at that. It goes on the entire day. It starts at 6 a.m., then only says cloudy but no rain at 7 a.m. and then rain again til 9 p.m. It won’t be non-stop rain (I hope) so I’ll have to pay close attention and get her in and out during any times I see that it isn’t raining.
It’s going to be somewhat better in Brownwood but it’s going to be cold and rainy there too. Vince is going to put the plants I want to save in the sewing room tomorrow since he isn’t hooking up heat in the greenhouse this year.
Chad tried on his old red coat when he was here today. It does still fit. I told him he could have it back if he wanted it but he didn’t. I washed it last night so at least I have an oversized, super warm, clean, waterproof jacket to wear out tomorrow.

I feel for Rita. I don’t like the cold, and cold rain either. But I would love some nice warm rain. It has been unusually dry along the middle Gulf coast of Texas. The wind, however, is another story. We were going fishing tomorrow, but the waves are forecasted to be around 4-5 feet. By the way, I love your hair and those pumpkins!

Are those puppy pads expensive? Just thinking how miserable Rita might be having to go out in cold rainy weather. Would it be unreasonable to let her stay in to do her business? Sorry if I’m being absurd, never had a small dog. I love your hair style too.

Not happening. Dogs go to the bathroom outside at our house. Speck was a mini dachshund and we would keep a path shoveled for him. He always went out. We take her out on a leash so we’re out in it too.
I usually wait til she lets me know she needs to go out and she’s pretty quick but I’ve worked too hard to get her to be dependable about going outside.
Thanks. I like my hair longer too.

Since Quincy hurt his leg, he has not wanted to go out in the cold or stay out very long. Bella has a heavy coat so she loves it outside. Quincy does his business and he knows when he comes in he can get a biscuit. He has me trained well!
