Yesterday I looked out and the bird bath was full of bluebirds. It reminded me of a bunch of unruly children in a pool. They were zooming in and out of the water, flying around like crazy birds and they looked to be having too much fun.
It was after I started looking at the pictures that I laughed, thinking how much different it looks here than the front yard in MO.
This photo was taken last week, and we have no grass after having had trees cut and dirt work done, but it’s so green there and not so green in our part of Texas.
We do need to work on attracting bluebirds there. They are fun to watch.

How do you attract bluebirds? They are my favorite but never do I see but one or two some years.
Carolyn Sullivan says
yes how do you attract them! I know we have them at our feeders in the winter, but non now! what do you do to attract them year round.
Judy Laquidara says
I’ll do a blog post in a day or so.

My mother puts out peanuts (in the shell) to attract the blue jays. They come right and sit on her porch rail.
Judy Laquidara says
I do not like blue jays. They’re so mean to other birds but we have too many around here.

I love all the birds that come to our feeder and bird bath. They are so much fun to watch. We have the feeders where we can see them from the dining room.
