Subconsciously I seem to look for coincidences, or maybe they look for me. I don’t know. Vince often just shakes his head when I’m telling him one of my crazy stories but these things make me so happy when they happen, or, maybe they’re only happening in my head. No matter, they make me smile and days like this past week, a smile is a smile, no matter how it happened.
This morning when I looked at Facebook, my “memory” was that I had made pumpkin gingerbread five years ago today.
Seeing that picture made me want to stop packing and make pumpkin gingerbread but I was about 99% sure those pans were packed and the last thing I need to do is start unpacking so I kinda put it out of my mind.
We were in the sewing room packing and I came across two Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Lavishea lotion bars.
I love these bars and this time of year, that Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin is my favorite. I used some and keep getting a whiff that smells like pumpkin bread.
We were still packing about 1 p.m. and Vince wanted to stop and go eat fish. We did and when we drove back down the driveway, we passed Vince’s little cleaning station. He had packed pressure cookers, bowls, pots, electrical appliances yesterday – all from upstairs but looked what he left out.
I will be fixing lunch for the movers so I think I’ll make pumpkin gingerbread for them.
Isn’t it funny when all those things come together like that? It always makes me feel like I’m just supposed to make pumpkin gingerbread soon.

You and me both. The kitchen, laundry room, two extra bedrooms and sewing room are packed. All the suspected hiding places ant no sign of them.
