The rigid heddle loom was one of the things we brought with us in the car and we got it set up, which was a piece of cake – two screws really.
It actually has a scrap run on it that I started for Addie quite a few years ago. You can see that it has legs and there was no place to use it in the Texas house once Rita went blind. If I went off into an extra bedroom and closed the door, she would sit at the door and howl, wanting to come in. If I put it anywhere that she could get to, she would run into it, get frustrated and then keep running into the legs trying to find her way away from it. In MO, she stays in the kitchen/breakfast area (barricaded in) so I can keep it in the living room, dining room or, I can take it to the sewing room. I tried using it in the sewing room but that was a a bit of a problem with Boots because the yarn or fabric strips dangle and you know what anything dangling does to a cat. We will all learn to live together in time.

Not good at all.

That would mean a 9 1/2 hour drive with an unhappy cat. Not a good thing at all.

There is always pet tranquilizers and you may have to use them on Boots before you move him.
