Every day Vince finds things to do around here. He’s been doing so much! I think he really likes it here and is inspired to do more outside since it’s not so blasted hot, and there’s been a nice breeze blowing, and the grass is green and the leaves are changing colors. It’s just a very nice place to be! 🙂
He bought the pole thing that will extend 20′. It has a squeegee thing on the end on one side and a mop like thing on the other side. He squirted the solar panels off as best he could, then he came back with the mop thing (no soap) and scrubbed them, then I rinsed them off while he moved on to the next ones. It wasn’t a hard job and it was a nice evening.
It makes me happy seeing him take an interest in doing things.

Oh I am so happy to hear that he likes it there. All your prayers (and ours) were answered.

Where did he get the “pole thing”? I could really use one.

I think he got it at Home Depot or Lowe’s in Joplin. I’ll find out and if both those guesses are wrong, I’ll send you an email.

It’s always great when a change inspires someone to action. So glad for you that he’s taking an interest and getting involved!! Sounds like a good plan! ??

He likes being busy and now he has something to do all the time. I know he is really enjoying this.
Susan Nixon says
Sounds like it’s good for both of you, then!

Strange we have been told not to wash our panels. Maybe we get more rain in NC.
Judy Laquidara says
We just used water and a soft mop – no soap. They get very dirty and that reduces the efficiency. There’s a whole lot of grime on the, even after a big rain.
Most of us have been told they don’t have to be washed but it’s well known that they do lose a small amount of efficiency as the dirt builds up.
