It isn’t the cookie molds but almost as good . . the pasta drying rack.
I hadn’t made pasta in ages and I knew it was not with the pasta maker but wasn’t sure where it was so I was happy to come across it.
Today I was thinking that we’ve been through enough stuff that the cookie molds HAVE to be upstairs somewhere. I told myself I was going to go up there and search til I found them. I didn’t find them.
I keep thinking I know what they’re in but today I decided to leave no stone unturned and look in every single possible spot. I opened boxes, tubs I couldn’t see through but they are just nowhere.
What I did find was a bottle that a mouse has meticulously filled with wheat that he stole from goodness knows where. I didn’t think I had any that they could get into but when I find it, the whole batch will have to be tossed.
The mice get into everything so if it isn’t in a box that’s taped and taped some more; or a container that has a tight seal, they get into it.
Thank goodness we have a feral cat that sleeps up there. Obviously Cat sleeps like I do . . dead to the world.

I suspect your cookie molds went out with the trash, unfortunately.

I don’t think so. They were in a small Rubbermaid tote. Vince is pretty careful about what he takes out to the trash (like NOTHING!) and they would rattle if you moved the box around. I think Vince thought there was something of his in there and put it up with his stuff.

I was so excited when I read the title! Dang!

I had a friend years ago that told me she always asked St. Anthony to help her find what she had lost or misplaced. She said she turned around 3 times and asked! She swore it worked, but I don’t know. I think you will come across them somewhere. I bet they are with something wrapped around them so they will not break. I think you will find them.

I’m going to try that tomorrow. I’ll try anything at this point.

“Tony, Tony, look around. Something’s lost and can’t be found.” is the saying that my mom used to recite. And, she usually found the item soon afterward.
St. Joseph is supposed to be good for home sales. The tradition is to bury a St. Joseph statue, upside down by the real estate sale.sign. When I bought my house, the agent mentioned that she had just put a statue by the sign three days earlier.
Speaking of mice – I was visiting my mom for an extended time. When I came back, I had surprises all over the house. I had some bird seed in the garage. A mouse found it and I apparently had gaps around closet doors. The gaps were now all duct taped or repaired. I found about 45 stashes, but I am always careful when I get something off a top shelf.

I did that same thing once. Had a plastic bin on the patio full of bird seed. One mighty mouse chewed a hole in it in and then invited all his friends over. We had lots of mice in our house that year. There are so many outside around here with the woods so close. They get into everything. Some people have had problems with them chewing up wiring under their vehicle hoods but so far, we haven’t had that happen. I haven’t seen one in the house nor have I seen evidence of one in the house here but I’m not naive enough to believe there haven’t been any in here.

The only problem I had with my car was during a trip to Arizona. The car drove great going there but we were at a meeting, so we didn’t drive for a few days. The car was different on the trip back. The mechanics found lots of insulation in a spot that impacted air flow. I think it was from a construction site next to the hotel and we had an attack of the pack rats! They put chicken wire in that area, just in case it was a local mouse.

I’m not Catholic, but have appealed to St Anthony. I always say ‘I’m not Catholic, but…’. He’s helped me several times. Also have purchased a St Joseph statue at the Catholic Supply store. The cashier even asked if I wanted a regular statue or the 75 cent one for burying in the yard. I got the little one and the house sold in 3 days, after being on the market for months. Good luck with the cookie molds.

I suggest you go straight to the top, and ask Jesus himself to please show you where those cookie molds are. And how best to store them in the new home, so that you can find them whenever you want.
I can imagine you using them with Addie and Nicole; and Addie giving a special cookie to her teacher.

Can you imagine the thrill we will all have when you find these cookie molds?

We’ll have to have a big blog party!

A friend of mine lost her cell pone. Said she looked everywhere for it, but after she had a new one sent out, got it all set up, hated it, she found her old phone. She said she looked everywhere, but she missed a not often used or entered room. It was sitting on top of a dresser, in plain sight! She has no recollection of entering the room and setting her phone down.
Judy Laquidara says
I lost mine once for days and found it in the drawer with the dish towels. Go figure!
