I’m almost done knitting on the cowl I’m making for my August Camp Loopy project for The Loopy Ewe. I think Ill get the knitting part of it finished today. I’ve already knitted the required 800 yards and still want to do a few more rows of striping before I stop. I’ll then weave in all the ends, do the grafting, then get the photo taken and get it submitted.
The photo was taken late last night and the red isn’t nearly as orange as it appears. Maybe today I can get a good daylight photo.
I wish I could soak and block it before grafting the ends together but there’s no time for that. The plan is to leave tomorrow to go back to Texas and I don’t want to risk having to wait for it to dry and not getting it finished by the end of August deadline since there’s so much going on right now. I’m surprised I found time to get it knitted this month!

Is it safe to go back to Texas when the Hurricane Laura is pending???
Judy Laquidara says
It isn’t going to affect my part of Texas, nor the path we take to get there. So, yes . . safe as can be.
Nelle Coursey says
Stay safe in your travels. I don’t think there is any of the hurricane going toward where you will be traveling. They are not even predicting we will get much rain, if any tomorrow. Hope all your family is safe.
