The Big Tub

In Nevada, MO we had a larger jetted tub. In 4-1/2 years I got in it once and I think Vince may have used it half a dozen times. Tonight .. he’s sitting in the Jacuzzi. The one here is definitely a two person tub but I think taking baths is kind of a waste of time. I can hop in the shower, do what I have to do and be finished in less than 5 minutes.

I walked in the bathroom and he said “It’s nice! Get in with me!” I said “Nope! Remember the rule! Whoever uses it has to clean it.” I think we all know how that’s going to end . . I’ll be the one to clean the tub.

He’s been working hard and I think every muscle aches. He deserves a long stay in the tub. Yesterday when they went to get the love seat and bed from the apartment, I thought it was going to be easy. I figured the love seat was fairly light but both Vince and Jeremy came back complaining about how heavy it was and how they really needed at least a third person to move it. I think both of them were probably sore today.

The key to the apartment has been a pain in the behind since Day 1. You have to push on the door to lock the bottom lock and pull on the door to lock the top lock and once the bottom lock is done, the top lock is almost impossible to lock. Vince had never done it and, he puts all his might behind things that resist and there’s the key to the apartment. All we have to do is vacuum, clean the toilets and we’re done but now . . we can’t get in. Hoping to get that resolved this week and . . I would say “turn the key in” but they probably don’t want the key at this point.

If I had thought about how hard that door was to open and close, I would have gone with them since I’ve kinda figured out how to hold my mouth while locking/unlocking the door so it works.
