I may have mentioned before that my friend made and gave me a bottle of All Purpose Cleaner she had made using this recipe. She made it using tea tree oil and peppermint oil.
I ordered the amber glass bottles and they arrived yesterday so Nicole, Addie and I made some.
Addie loved making it and loved using it. She kept sniffing it and saying “This smells so fresh!” She wanted to clean the wood floors and glass in the doors with it. I said no! We’re going to have to make homemade window cleaner and wood floor cleaner so she can use her homemade creations to help clean.

If only that’s all it took to make me want to clean! LOL

SCIENTIST in the making! For windows I use: 50/50 white vinegar/water. Have for decades 🙂
If she really wants to see something fun: 1 Tablespoon baking soda mixed with 2 cups water and then add 1/4 cup vinegar. This is my standard cleaner for everything in our home.

I have an interest in making cleaning supplies and laundry soap. I’ve not gotten there yet but read to be really careful with Tea Tree/Melaluca around animals.

That’s one way to get a child interested in cleaning. =)
