Vince dropped her off this morning. I hadn’t planned to go – I would have cried all the way there and she would have known something was wrong so I figured it best that I just stay home and cry. And, Vince was going to go by Home Depot and get some boxes so we can start packing. There was somewhere else he was going to go and I’m not comfortable going out so . . home is the best place for me, especially today.
Rita has to spend the night at the vet. I’m glad – the first vet we were going to get to do it was going to send her home the same day and I surely wasn’t comfortable with that. I’ll be so glad when all this is over and she’s recovered.
I’ll really be happy when we’re all moved, and life is back to normal! Kinda early in this process for me to be thinking I’m ready for it to be over, right?

Hoping for a worry free recovery for Rita. Since she’s been blind she will never miss her eyes. You are the one who will have to adjust and you will.
