We didn’t accomplish a whole lot this weekend. In took a long nap yesterday. After having Addie for five weeks, then spending a day driving to MO, spending one night, and spending another day driving back, we were both exhausted. Every night I’d tell Vince “I hope I sleep late in the morning” but I never was able to sleep past 6 a.m. Yesterday I got up and then said “I think I can sleep more”, went back to sleep and slept another two hours. Then yesterday afternoon, I told Vince I was going to take a nap and asked him to wake me up before dark so I could water the garden. I went to bed about 4 and he woke me at 7:30 so I think I’m caught up on my sleep.
I feel like I should be packing! I walk into a room and think . . we’re never going to get this done – things to toss, things to donate, things to pack; but we’re waiting on the appraisal before we get started packing. The last thing I want to do is have to unpack it all without having moved. We were supposed to have gotten the appraisal Friday but didn’t so I hope it comes today. The inspection is done so all we need now is an appraisal at or above the sales price. I’m not concerned but . . you never know.
Of course, I’ll post as soon as we get the appraisal and then I’ll start sorting and packing like a crazy woman.

you could start the “tossing” which would give you a head start. our house fell out of escrow after i had several boxes of my sewing room packed, and because of the timing we decided to pull it until the next spring. i never missed the things that were already packed, and was ahead of the game the next year when it sold. i’m so happy for you as we moved away 5 months before we found out our first grandchild would be born, and know i could never have left if the timing wasn’t the way it was.

You will get it done in time and not have to go crazy! Right now, just take your time.
