I understand that there’s some controversy about drinking raw milk but it’s really the only milk I’ll drink. At one time here, there was a lady that I would trade veggies for raw milk but for at least six years, I’ve had no source of raw milk.
There’s a dairy very near our new location. It’s inspected, state approved/certified (whatever they do) and I’m pretty excited about that. When we lived in MO, it was about 60 miles from our house and I’d go there several times a month and buy milk. Now, it will be 14 miles from my door to their door.
Every day I get more excited about the new location and I was pretty excite don Day 1. I still am a bit sad about leaving here but I really feel like we’ve made the right decision.

That’s the only milk I drink also. Luckily I have a farm about 8 miles from me. Small local farm, 3 Jersey’s.

This dairy has Jerseys too . . the best!

Here in Tennessee it is against the law to sell raw milk. A lot of that milk has been wasted during this pandemic. Such a shame.

I think every state has different rules. Here, I think it can only be sold at the farm where it was produce but I could be wrong.

I am a dairy farm girl. From age 10, it was my job every night before dinner to go get 1/2 gallon fresh off the plate cooler. When I left for college I couldn’t believe they called that crap in the cafeteria milk. Once my budget wasn’t so tight, I started buying organic milk. Standard shelf milk is awful. SOOOO excited for you to get fresh raw milk!!!!!! (I’m 50 now and Dad’s dairy is long gone!)

Even though I hate for you not to be near, I am so excited for you. I know you are going to eventually move there full time. I will be sad but happy for you. When we start back to our knitting group I will have to go in the car because by then they will be in their new location on Main and Austin (old fire station). They will even have a room just for us!!
Judy Laquidara says
That’s exactly what I thought but I’m sure we’ll be gone by the time they’re open there.
