I had convinced myself that I wasn’t going to do Camp Loopy in August because I might be just a little busy with packing but I figured there’s only so much packing I can do in a day. I’ll get tired and welcome a few minutes to sit and knit. Even if I don’t finish, at least I tried.
I looked up the school colors for our new location and they’re red, Columbia blue and white. The red is Valentine but in the picture, it looks a bit orangey but it it was as close as I could get.
It’s going to be a cowl with some colorwork.
So many things I’m looking forward to at the new location and one of them is having more opportunity to wear sweaters, cowls, and shawls.

I’m so excited for you and Vince for your move. But maybe you need to sell the Texas place before it starts to snow in MO. You don’t want Vince to change his mind!

Once the papers are signed, it’s too late to change his mind. If he wants to come back to Texas during the winter, I’ll come back with him but I don’t think there will be enough snow in MO to have him wanting to move back to Texas. Rita may feel differently since my guess is she’s never experienced snow.

Love those colors together – it will be great in the pattern you picked.

I think you should do anything you want to do! Heck we have worked long enough to gain this new freedom and you do need to take a rest sometimes. Knitting relaxes you and I think you should do it! Plus there may be some times when you will be riding in the car and you can take your knitting with you.
