Addie loves keeping her pajamas on all day. I kinda like that too. Earlier this week, we needed to send the deposit for the house. We offered to do it electronically but the title company that’s doing the closing said to just send a check. Our mail usually comes by about 2 p.m. but when Addie and I went to the mail box around noon, our mail was already in the box. Vince said he’d run it to the post office and since Addie and I had not left the house in two weeks, we decided to ride to town with him. It’s unusual for Addie not to go somewhere every day but we’ve been so busy, she hasn’t even asked to go anywhere.
I told her we wouldn’t be getting out of the car but she insisted on changing out of her pajamas into real clothes. I about gasped when she game out of the house.
Me: What are you wearing?
Addie: My Texas clothes!
Me: Why are those your Texas clothes? (I get the boot but not the rest of that outfit.)
Addie: You live in Texas and you bought these clothes for me. Don’t you remember?
I do remember but I never expected for any of those three pieces to be worn together! She was happy with it. I told her she looked beautiful and she was happy!

That is an eye-opening color combination! She is fashion forward…LOL

I’m still in my pajamas at noon.

She looks just fine. Love her logic about what she considers them her Texas clothes. I remember my (former) sister-in-law scolding me once for the mis-matched outfit my kindergartner wore to school. I just told her it was fine – everything was clean and covered the important things. Just had to pick my battles and mis-matched tops and pants didn’t bother me so they shouldn’t bother her.

Exactly!

LOL – Makes perfect sense!

If she’s happy with it, that’s the important part. Other than the boots clash with the clothes, or vice versa, there’s really nothing wrong with her choices. And even that, if it makes her happy ….

I have good intentions of getting up each morning and getting dressed. But, just doesn’t usually happen until about noonish. So happy to hear others wear their jammies for day wear.
And as far as Addie’s outfit I will tell you what my momma told me, “They will never notice on a galloping horse.” Happy trails to Addie.

They’re analagous colors! (Yeah, that’s it)
