We have for pomegranate trees and only one is producing this year. I find it so weird that two trees, right next to each other – one will produce and one will not.
This one tree is still blooming and has some poms that are just past the blooming stage and some starting to get ripe. Usually, they’re all at about the same stage of development.
They’re so interesting to watch. The actual bloom develops into the fruit and never really loses the original shape.
Some of the fruit is now fully developed and starting to get red.
This is the first year we’ve had pears and looks like there will be quite a few of them but I’ve learned to not count on things like this til it happens but I do believe we’re going to get a few pears this year.

And next year, it won’t matter, because you won’t be there to pick them. =) You’ll be buying them in stores! I wonder if Jujubes would grow in Missouri.
