There hasn’t been a lot of sewing going on today but I promised Addie I’d make diapers for one of her dolls. I drew out my idea of what a diaper should look like, cut it out and tinkered with it. Addie picked out fabric for five diapers and I got four of them made.
A little elastic, a little velcro – Addie thinks I’m brilliant and I haven’t corrected her. 🙂
This doll really bothers me. Her head is so huge for her body . . why would they make a doll like that. Worse, she cries and whines and seems to have a battery that will not die.
Having said all that, you know that when I take Addie home, I’ll be missing her and this disproportionate doll.

That doll is sortof creepy looking but the diapers are so cute! Safe travels when you take her back.
Susan Nixon says
Well, you ARE brilliant! What has she asked you to make that you haven’t figured out a way to do? Not one thing. =) The doll is definitely creepy.

I love what you came up with! Unfortunately a lot of the dolls now are very scary!!

A baby a only it’s mother could love! Good job with the diaper!
Does it wet? Growing up in the 50’s, I had a Tiny Tears doll that you gave a bottle of water and she wet her diaper. She was lovely!
Prayers on the house.
Judy Laquidara says
No wetting but that baby has the most annoying cry and she cries a lot. There is a button that turns off the noise but I have to ask that it be turned off a million times a day.
Ruth says
Babies that cry too much are tired and need to be put to bed in the bedroom as soon as possible.
