I almost always have a camera or my phone with me because you never know what you’re going to see around here. Yesterday evening I was in the garden watering and Addie came out. She was taking to me and looked up and noticed the sky. She said “Granny, do you have your phone?” I asked why and she said she wanted to take a picture. I hadn’t even noticed the sky but handed her my phone
When I looked at the picture this morning, I realized what a great picture it is and I love it. It shows the okra growing, the piles of cardboard that Vince fond at the dump and the fence that my tomatoes are growing on, plus the pretty sky that caught Addie’s attention. I love that she notices things like that. I have no idea how old I was when I began noticing sunrises, sunsets and the sky but I’m thinking it was long after I was seven.

That IS a great picture. And technically, she didn’t do badly, either – centering is good.

This is really beautiful! You should send it to either CVS or Walgreens and have them put it on a canvas for you. I don’t think they are very expensive. And you can give it to Chad and Nicole for Christmas!! And with them knowing Addie took it, that makes it even more special! They really do a good job for the price you pay.
