Words of Wisdom from Vince

Oh, my! Sometimes when talking to Vince, I’m not sure whether to laugh, cry, scream at him or . . write a blog post.

We spent a lot of time today talking about a potential move. Most days I could pack whatever we can fit in our vehicles, leave the rest, move on to a new location and be perfectly happy. Other days, I can’t imagine living anywhere else. We really have to weigh everything out. Today while talking to a realtor that was recommended to us for the area where we’re having so much trouble with realtors, she asked . . do you care more about the inside or the outside. We told her both and she seemed to want us to make a choice. I told her we’re not going to go in and do any work. We don’t even paint! Also, I’m not ever buying a house again with painted cabinets. We have to have a certain number of bedrooms and bathrooms; we have to have a basement and we will not buy a house without an enclosed garage. But we’re also not going to buy where there are close neighbors, where you can see the house from the road . . both matter. After our conversation, Vince and I talked and we’re in agreement about all things house/land related . . not so much about the location.

Then we had this conversation:

Me: I’m glad we’re married to each other.
Vince: Yep, we could have done a lot worse.

Huh? I’m not sure how to take that but . . from Vince . . I’ll just let it slide.
