No, they aren’t finished. I did get the second boot sewn together but didn’t get the soles attached to either boot. It shouldn’t take long but yesterday was so busy.
Vince had to go to town. The plumber was coming to change out the water heater and replace the seals on the toilets. I had already let them know that the gate would be open, and I’d be in the sewing room but Addie had the TV on and I was afraid I wouldn’t hear them drive up so I went back to the house. Vince was back from town before they got her so I went back to the sewing room and did the top stitching on the lower half of the boot. Then Addie wanted lunch so I fixed lunch. Then some friends dropped by and we visited with them for an hour or so. I had spaghetti sauce simmering on the stove so that was good. At least dinner was done on time.
Vince got the paint for Addie’s wardrobes so today she’s going to want to get the painting done. Maybe Vince will supervise the painting job and I’ll be able to sew. Who thinks that might happen? 🙂

Man you are hopping! Yes I think Vince helping Addie paint while you rest (& nap) is a great idea!

I think Addie has Vince wrapped around her finger!! That is so cool that he would do this for her. He is a wonderful grandfather. So glad your day went well and I am hoping your water heater problems will be over now. No more alarms in the middle of the night.

He is a good grandpa but he can be gruff and expects to say something once and she’s not real used to that.
I do think we’ve found the problem with the water heater and won’t have issues with the new one.

Interesting to see what one small child adds to the day’s tasks. LOL

It’s amazing! The laundry and dishes surprised me.
