I’ve never liked milk gray – not with steak or chicken or sausage! Chad loved it growing up so I’d keep those frozen packages of gravy that you dropped in boiling water and he was always fine with that.
Now, Chad makes the real thing often and Addie loves it. She’s asked for sausage gravy and biscuits every morning so yesterday when we bought groceries, I was supposed to buy the frozen gravy but I forgot to add it to my list and, of course, without it on the list, I forgot to get it
This morning, I told her I would make sausage gravy and biscuits. The price I paid for forgetting to put frozen gravy on my list but I think Vince and Addie were both pleased with their breakfast.
Vince said “Now that I know you can make sausage gravy, let’s have it more often!” Oops . . maybe I should never have done that! 🙂

As a southern lady, I was surprised to read that you don’t like milk gravy. Then again I dislike red eye gravy, and saw mill gravy.

Someone mentioned sausage gravy and biscuits this afternoon on TV, so I suggested it for us for supper. We both like it, so that’s what we had for supper tonight! Thanks for the inspiration!. It was delicious.

Sausage gravy is the only kind I like, but it was Paul’s that I liked. LOL I don’t often find another one that is as good. Strangely enough, I find McDonald’s sausage gravy to be acceptable. Maybe they buy it the same place you got Chad’s – LOL

Sausage gravy & biscuits–any biscuits & gravy–my favorite “road trip” food 🙂

I love biscuits and gravy! My dad used to make hamburger gravy and serve it over toast and call it SOS. When my DH and I married he made gravy out of a packet so I taught him how to make it properly. (He does all of our cooking because he’s a stay at home dad).
