Looking back, we didn’t do a whole lot today but I am worn out. I even convinced her to take a 20 minute nap today.
We went to Hobby Lobby and bought two patterns – one for a romper that a friend had shown in Facebook that her granddaughter made and another for a dress. When we were in Walmart in MO, we were looking at patterns and there was a dress for a girl and a doll. Addie wanted it. I didn’t want to make it so I talked her out of it. Today, she saw the same pattern at Hobby Lobby and wanted it again so I got it. We found fabric for both patterns.
We then went to the grocery store. Our eating “style” doesn’t work so well for Addie. We have breakfast mid-morning, then eat dinner about 3, but she needs to eat more often so we bought things like corn dogs, lunchables, and some kind of yogurt snacks. She told me that she wants to have fish sticks and beanie weenie one day. Vince is excited about that — NOT! She also told me that she loves tacos and burritos so that’s what we’re having tomorrow.
I believe we’ll be making doll clothes tomorrow.
Since the first plumber hasn’t called about changing the water heater, we called another one who never called us back so Vince has a friend coming over tomorrow and they’re going to change out the water heater and see if they can find any reason the CO is still coming into the house only when we take showers – not when I wash dishes or wash clothes. Weird! We have to get some resolution with this issue!

Hope you and Addie have a great time sewing tomorrow. When my niece and nephew come to visit, one will eat what we eat and one lives on Nutella sandwiches. ?

Have you checked the drains in the showers to see if they are collecting the CO from the septic tank?

My granddaughter is coming in July. She has already told me she wants me to help her with a sewing project. Looking forward to the visit.

Sounds like a LOT of fun!

Enjoy the heck out of having that granddaughter there! Our first batch of grandkids aged out of staying at Gramma & Grandpa’s. Our youngest two have always come to have sleepovers a few times a year but that changed when they started kindergarten. Since our son passed away in January our DIL doesn’t want them out of her sight. I don’t think she trusts anyone to keep them safe, including us and her own parents. I hope that changes before too long. We do enjoy having them stay for a couple days at a time.

Sounds like fun is being had by all, until you feed Vincent fish sticks and beenie weenies. LOL

Enjoy every minute. Time goes by so quickly.
