He made two of these wardrobes for Addie. He still has to add the back, sand everything and he’ll prime it. Then she can choose her paint color(s) and we’ll let her paint them.
So sweet! These are things her children will be able to use.

Brought back memories of the ones my Dad made for me. All my doll clothes hung on hangers, with storage for accessories below. My mother grew up with just her mother, and they were poor. She only had 1 teddy and one small doll for toys, but when she dusted my bedroom, I’d find all my dolls dressed in different outfits, so she enjoyed them as much as I did!

Vince has done a great job. I’m guessing Addie will pick pink for at least one of them.

That’s what I’m thinking too but based on the color she chose for her bedroom, it’s going to be BRIGHT pink!

That is a great wardrobe! When I was at the “play with Barbie” stage, my father made wire coat hangers for all of Barbie’s clothes–(and she had a LARGE wardrobe, because my aunt sewed clothes for her frequently.) They were all perfect miniature little hangers that he even welded to hold together (no sharp edges). I can’t imagine how long it took him to make them all. I still have Barbie, her clothes and the hangers tucked away in a box. Good memories!
