Vince had a wisdom tooth that he was going to have pulled before Covid-19 shut down everything. He went yesterday to finally get it pulled.
I had taken ground beef out the day before and we were going to have grilled burgers but then I thought he might not want to eat a burger after having a tooth pulled so I told him I’d open a jar of soup.
He wasn’t gone long at all. I was out in the garden working and was surprised to see him coming back so soon. He was laughing. He had the little tooth in a zipper bag. It was about the size of one split pea before it’s cooked. Vince said the dentist kept telling him there was a lot of irritation around it. Vince said “I think he was just telling me that so I wouldn’t feel bad about having complained about such a tiny little tooth.” Vince also said that dentists through the years had said “That’s a tiny little tooth!” but he never realized it was really a mini-tooth.
After he’d been home a while, he decided he was fine with a burger so we were able to have our grilled burgers after all. We had the soup too since I’d already gotten it out and was in the mood for it so . . soup and burgers it was!

It sounds like a delicious meal to me! That’s too funny! It doesn’t take much to cause discomfort, though.
